Our Story
MMK was the brain child of Caroline Oxford. Time spent working in the banking industry, not for profit sector and with disenfranchised youth opened her eyes to the social, psychological and environmental fall-out associated with a lack of financial capability. Luckily she also saw a tremendous opportunities for positive change that can arise by providing financial education not only for the individuals themselves but also on a much grander scale.
‘By treating each cent that we spend as a vote for a better world, we change not only our own lives but we also have the power to change the fabric of our society – one person, one purchase at a time’.
So equipped with a bunch of ideas, 15+ year experience in finance, and a passion for environmental & community mindedness, MMK was born. Helping parents provide children from an early age with the foundations of financial literacy, along with an appreciation for the true power of money. By incorporating the concepts of conscious consumerism, environmental awareness, and community mindedness, children learn that true wealth is not just about how much money you can accumulate. True wealth is about using your money wisely no matter how much you have – to positively influence yourself, your community, your environment, and best of all creating a financial ecological footprint that you can be proud of for generations to come.

Every decision we make can impact and assist others for the greater good. Random acts of kindness or even random acts of deviance (doing something against what normally would be expected) not only feels good but can help expand others understanding of the world, making for a more compassionate & inclusive society.
Environmentally Aware
Spending choices can have a positive or negative impact on our environment. Making simple informed choices about how we spend our money daily, can have a significant impact on climate change, deforestation, animal cruelty, species preservation & much more. Our decisions determine the demand for items, by making ethical choices we create positive change. It’s as simple as that.
Financially Capable
A solid foundation in financial literacy is a key skill we all need – no matter how much or how little we have. It helps us to make wise money decision, avoid moneys stresses, positively influences environmental and social factors, and can give us the feel-good factor associated with knowing we have done good in the world.

Finally seeing the light after many years within the banking industry Caroline decided to step into the world of Social Entrepreneurship. She has previously worked mentoring troubled youth, creating and delivering various training programs, and has spent time in the Not for Profit sector.
Caroline is now focussing on a cause that she is truely passionate about – providing fun and easy tools and activities to help develop children’s financial capability, equipping them for the future and helping them create a better world through mindful money decisions.
